MCL31 Dermablate Fractional Laser
The MCL31 Dermablate represents the highest standard in dermatological lasers. The Erbium Yag laser is ideal for treating lesions, superficial to deep skin resurfacing, acne scars, and sun damage. The Dermablate provides micron-level precision and allows for both fractional and fully ablative laser resurfacing.
Since the laser targets water – the main constituent of the skin – damage from heat transfer is avoided resulting in minimal downtime and an optimal healing period.
How Fractional Lasers Work
Per its namesake, fractional lasers only treat a fraction of the skin at a time with laser beams but treatment can have an effect on the whole skin. Essentially, the laser creates millions of tiny holes in the skin – vaporizing what it comes in contact with and creating columns into the skin. The minute damage or “wounds” created by the laser force the body to heal with new and healthy skin, after eradicating any previous pigmented or lax skin. The depth of laser penetration determines what is being treated.
